The Six Pillars of Character were developed by Character Counts!™, a national non-profit organization that WiseSkills partners with to promote comprehensive character education.  The Six Pillars of Character were identified by Character Counts! as a set of core character qualities that can be agreed upon by schools and communities with a broad consensus. The WiseSkills program includes a variety of classroom, schoolwide, family, and community activities that help Character Counts! schools teach and reinforce the Six Pillars of Character throughout the school year.
