Young people learn character best when they see examples of the character qualities they are learning.
WiseSkills is a schoolwide character education program, organized around monthly Character Themes, that highlights inspiring role models from different
cultures and backgrounds who demonstrate important principles of character. Many
of these individuals
students may also be studying in academic subject areas. This helps elementary, middle, and high school teachers conveniently integrateWiseSkills and character education into the subject areas they teach. The WiseSkills role models can also be used by Character Counts! schools to teach the Six Pillars of Character.
