Many families want to develop good character in their children but are not sure exactly where to begin. The WiseSkills Family Component is a simple and exciting way to support families in developing good character in their children. Family Wisdom--Elementary School and Family Wisdom--Middle School contain reproducible newsletters and activity pages that engage families in interactive home activities that teach positive principles of character, connect to academic subject areas, and encourage them to get involved in local service projects. These pages can be used independently, or in conjunction with the WiseWords (Grades K-2), WiseQuotes (Grades 3-5), and WiseLives (Grades 6-8) character education curricula. To use Family Wisdom schoolwide, the Family Wisdom License Pack provides training, permanent licensing, and additional resources for involving all families in character-building. Family Wisdom can be used in conjunction with Character Counts! to help families teach the Six Pillars of Character.

Family Wisdom--Elementary School and Family Wisdom--Middle School each come with a Class License which allows the materials to be reproduced for up to 50 families. 1. Permanent Site License This License provides permanent duplication rights for all of the materials in Family Wisdom for up to 1500 families.
2. Family Wisdom Training CD This CD contains video trainings, pdf files, and additional
resources for using Family Wisdom schoolwide. The
training presentations explain how to effectively use all of the resources in Family Wisdom, either independently or in conjunction with the
elementary and middle school curricula. Video training materials include Staff Training, Leadership Training, and reproducible handouts. The CD also contains Family Wisdom in pdf format and additional resources from the Administrator’s Handbook to help schools use Family Wisdom schoolwide.
