Classroom Character Activities

Effective character education involves elementary, middle, and high school students in meaningful classroom activities that teach and reinforce positive principles of character, build resiliency and developmental assets, and promote healthy social and emotional learning. WiseSkills is a schoolwide program, organized around monthly Character Themes, that highlights inspiring role models and engages students with interactive activities for the Start-of-the-Day, advisory/homeroom periods, or for integrating character into subject areas. These simple lessons and activities give teachers a variety of options to teach students the importance of making good choices and the benefits of demonstrating good character.
