WiseSkills features an easy-to-use elementary, middle, and high school curricula that helps after school programs
equip young people with the critical character qualities they need to
succeed. The program highlights the words and lives of inspiring role
models and features a variety of stimulating after-school activities, such as
role-plays, group discussions, art projects, creative writing, and
interactive family activities. The WiseSkills materials provide
after-school staff with a wealth of options for simple, 10-15 minute
character activities that create a positive focus for the beginning of the
after-school program day. The Family Wisdom materials
involve families in simple home activities that strengthen good
character and reinforce the character qualities taught during the after
school activities. All of the WiseSkills activities are organized around convenient monthlyCharacter Themes. WiseSkills can be used in conjunction with Character Counts! to help after school programs teach the Six Pillars of Character.
